EXPORTING a file? PUT YOUR NAME ON IT!

Build 1.04 comes with the ability to let you label your creations with your Screen Name, which will be shown in the Word Library alongside the Category/Playlist name after someone imports it.

This will allow people to remember who was the kind soul who created the word set, and encourage people to rate it and comment on it.

Actually, we are not done with this feature yet.  We had to release it in this unfinished state in order not to delay 1.04 any more.  When we are finished with it, the author's screen name will appear in a separate column, and will be CLICKABLE! When clicked, it will take you straight to the author's Downloads Profile page, where you can find all the author's downloads, so you can rate the download and download more from that user if you want to.

So, a few things:

1. PLEASE NAME ALL YOUR EXPORTS in the export screen before you export your stuff

2. PLEASE GET YOUR SCREEN NAME RIGHT! This is NOT your email, but the screen name that appears to others when you post.  But you don't have to worry about casing, as it's not case-sensitive

3. For those who have uploaded stuff already, I would encourage you to edit them so that your screen name will be incorporated.

So just to see if i got this, you want us when uploading a file to name it for example something like this:

Category - Jobs 1 - nohayo ?

No, no. Click on the Import/Export screen - notice that down below next to the export and settings buttons there is now a box for you to fill in your Screen Name.  A pop-up box will also come up if you try to export without filling it in.

Just make sure you fill in that box with your Screen name!

You asked us to edit our existing uploads with our screen name, but I do not see that option when I go to edit them.

OH  it's so simple

Yup Noha - it IS so simple! You can even test if it works by re-importing the category you just exported with your nametag on it - you'll then see your name under the category/playlist title in your word library! (just like an ID!)

And Nikki, to edit your existing uploads by adding your name to it, you will first have to export all your categories and playlists again, this stim eusing the Screen Name function.    It may require a little more hard work to do, but it can be worth it so that other people know you created all those wonderful library files!
