So, I finally got around to testing out the trial version of Little Reader. It seems that I need to find a way to put the full version into my budget because you'll never believe what happened...

I did both day one sessions with my youngest daughter and after session two decided to go back and do session one with no sound. The word "clap" came up - she said "clap!" and clapped her hands; "wave" came up - she waved; "duck came up - she said "duck". All of this after HALF a day using the program!!

I think it's safe to say I'm sold!

She may really likes it! When a child really enjoys what she /he is doing they pick it up very fast!!

I've noticed that as well.I try to make all of our learning fun and the girls always excel. I have found, however, that with the eldest she picks it up REALLY quickly if it's something she's interested in. For example,she learned every species of North American owl in moments, it seemed, just because she loves owls so much.

I'm really looking forward to proceeding with Little Reader and seeing how it works out. I wish I'd started earlier with my two year old!

I am about to buy little reader.  Do you all think it is better to buy the cd or just download? Why?  How easy is it to teach the nanny to do the little reader program with my kids?
