Ok, I've been toying with getting Little Reader since I found this site 2 months ago. But I had made a decision not to implus buy things for him anymore, just because it seems like a good educational thing, does not mean he must have it. So I've been sitting on it, making sure this is what we need. For a while (before I knew it was not approved by Brillkids
and quickly deleted it) I had a copy of Little Reader Lite. Well for the short time we had it my son was obsessed with it and could navaigate his way around it no problem. So I really think this would be good for him. (LOL look at me trying to justify it to myself LOL) I just have a few questions.
1)How sucessful have you guys been at using LR to teach EK? This is something I would like to start with my son. Can you teach a child time and how to read a analog clock this way?
2)How sucessful have you guys been at teaching a second language. My son already understands ASL thanks to both the hearing and deaf caregivers at his daycare, could he pick up a language, lets say french, with this program. Or at least the basics to help him when he starts french class at school.
Basically I need the final push to get it through my head that this is worth it for my 4 year old that is currently learning to read with paper flash cards and matching words to pictures.
Thank-you in advance
