By "transfer," you mean you want to "copy" the personal pictures / videos from your English words into the Chinese ones (LR Chinese curriculum), correct?
Unfortunately, the current version of LR will only allow you to save a copy of your original English (or Chinese) word, complete with all the media files originally attached to the word. Once you have a duplicate of the original word, you can edit the copy as necessary without accidentally changing the original word used in the curriculum. Since you'd like to copy just your personal pictures or videos from your English Categories into your Chinese Categories, the safe way to do so is by re-adding those pictures / videos to the corresponding Chinese words. You can do this by selecting a Chinese word and then editing it, and when you click ADD (in the Picture or Video Slide tab), you can browse for the image or video files you added to your English words earlier.
If you just want to have the same set of personal pictures / videos for the English and Chinese versions of the "Family" category (or any category that's not included in the curriculum, like "Everyday Phrases"), you can do it this way:
1. Go to the Advanced Play/Edit screen and select the English "Family" category, then select "mommy" and click on the Edit button
2. In the Edit Word window, change the word into the Chinese translation (you can add your own recording now, or add it later in step 6)
3. Click on the Save As button (this is beside the Save button) and type in a filename to save it as a duplicate of the original word
4. Click OK and close the Edit Word window -- you'll notice that the translated "mommy" word was added at the end of the word list
5. Select the duplicate "mommy" word and drag-and-drop it into the Chinese "Family" category
6. You can edit this word again if you need to make further changes, or if there's nothing else to edit you can go ahead and delete the original Chinese "mommy" (which doesn't have your personal media)
7. You may follow the same steps for the rest of the words
Note: You may set Little Reader to show the words' file names to help you distinguish your own translated / personalized words from the original words (LR curriculum). To do this, go to Tools > Additional Settings, and check the box beside "Show word file names in word lists"
I wouldn't advise that you do the same "Save As" method (as above) for all your English Words to replace the words from the LR Chinese Categories because this could cause problems when you play your Chinese Curriculum (since the Categories are linked to your Courses). However, if you want to translate your categories into another language (German, Malay, etc.), you can do it by using the Save As function. You may refer to this article for more details about this:
