Hi Artina,
Firstly, are you a free trial user or a paid user? If you're on a free trial, you will only be able to access 9 day's worth of content which is already preloaded in the LR you downloaded.
If paid, then in your Account Management (under Software Systems), you should see 3 sections (1 is Software download, which you've already done, 2 is license key download - have you done this?, and 3 is curriculum content download, where you will see Semester 1 and 2 content, depending on what you purchased).
If you see them, please click on the content files do download them, and that will give you all the content you need.
Suggestion: In the Add Word dialog, I *believe* you used to be able to tab to the word field after filling out the file name field.
Now it doesn't work.
Would be great if you could tab through the field to make filling info. out faster.
Also, this may be a bug, but there is a lot of duplication of information in the Edit Playlist dialog...when you see the words listed, the word gets repeated twice in the list...it looks weird.
Thanks for pointing that out. Yes, tab at least used to work, and should work. Will look into it, as well as the Edit Playlist dialog. (if you could, would you mind getting a screenshot of the repeated words?)
Hi. When I updated to LR 1.6 all of my categories seemed fine - LR had saved files that I had created and I have been able to play them with no problems.
Yesterday, however, I tried to play the "family" and "everyday phrases" files that I had amended when I first bought LR but came across the following message: "the following media files referenced in one or more word files are missing from the expected location and therefrore cannot be displayed". This is referring to the sound files which I cannot seem to locate on my PC... Will I need to redo these sound files?
That's strange. Upgrading to 1.6 should not touch those files at all. Can you open up your Windows Explorer (or My Computer) and try to do a search for them? If what's missing are files that you created, then is it possible you inadvertantly moved them to another location? If the search cannot find those files in your computer, then I don't see any other choice other than to redo them, I'm afraid (regardless of what actually happened to them).
ay 25 and from that day forward, the Word Flash is not matching up with the list of multisensory words.
The Word Flash session is ALWAYS shorter than the multisensory session...
When I look at day 26, 27, 28 and so forth, it's all the same (unequal word flash and multisensory lists).
It doesn't seem to improve even after day 30.
Is this somehow caused by the curriculum upgrade, or is this the way the curriculum is presented?
Yes, that's one of the changes that was made to the curriculum (described in the post where we talked about the new Semester1 update) - we shortened all Word Flash lessons from 18 words to 9. We balance out what's shown in Word Flash compared to Multisensory by having all 9 words spread out over Session 1 and Session 2, so if you're playing both sessions, you will get word flash lessons that cover all words. We did this cos many people found the word flash lessons going on for too long. If you want all words to be shown, simply play back Session 2's multisensory words too.
Also, we've been getting problems with playback for the past 2 days. The session won't progress, or get stuck and repeat , or overlook a slide, etc.
Will need more info on this. May be related to your import problem because I don't think you managed to import the content properly. Can you try to reproduce the error and describe it more? Any trends, like only happening to multisensory lessons, etc.?
