We are trying the 14-day trial software and yesterday my daughter was not engaging with the laptop and only wanted to "type". Finding this thread today was wonderful. I have the app up and running on the iPad, and she loves to watch LR and LM on there. I'm still waiting for a hopeful, eventual Mac version and/or an iPad app, but this is a great alternative option for now.

hi..i've followed how to set up splashtop..i can connect my comp on ipad but ..it gets stuck..it won't go to the next slide..what control do i use?  the comp is frozen..do u get smooth flowing brillkid? hop u can have it in mac version ,,the brillkid.. coz our windows pc is i think is so slow than imac

Has anyone tried the splash top app on their iPad while using a Mac computer and thus using Bootcamp program in order to run LR/LM?

Hi brillkids team, please make ur software available for iPad/android fast. Using a remote access software is so inconvenient as I need to have both my iPad n windows Pac on at the same time, n not to mention the lagging that sometimes I face. In today's world, people are fast using tablets, and I am very disappointed that brillkids is very slow in adapting new technologies.

We would like to clarify that the Little Reader software is not meant to be downloaded and installed on iOS mobile devices because the software is designed for Windows (PC) systems.

What you can install on your iOS mobile device (iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch) is our Little Reader Touch app, which is already available on the App Store (it has been available since earlier this year.)

Kindly launch the App Store in your device and do a search for "Little Reader Touch" and you should be able to install the app from there. It's free. Anyone can install it.

The app doesn't have the ability to customize and edit lessons which Little Reader on the computer has, and you can't create your own lessons on it. Those are the main differences it has versus the Little Reader program on a computer.

If you want to get your Little Reader curriculum courses on your iPad, here's how to do it:

If you already have a Little Reader (PC) license, all you need to get is iAccess. This will enable you to download your courses on your iPad without having to pay for it on the Little Reader Touch app. iAccess may be purchased from the BrillKids Online Store for only US$19.99 (https://user.brillkids.com/onlinestore/lrt-iaccess.php)

Once you have iAccess on your BrillKids account, all you need to do is sign in to your BrillKids account on the iOS app, and you'll be able to download the course content you have for free.

what i mean by full version is about having the ability to insert custom slides/images, and perform many other customization that can be performed on the PC version.

Hi Sathyasr, we've replied to your other post already, but in case there are others with the same question, please see below:

We don't have a specific date yet on when the Little Reader Touch app update will be ready (i.e., update with lesson customization features), so in the meantime this means the app can only be used for downloading and playing BrillKids courses or categories as they are provided in the app's Download Lessons screen.

iAccess is only offered as an option for licensed Little Reader (PC) users. iAccess is sold separately, or in other words it doesn't come automatically with any Little Reader (PC) purchase (whether you get a Basic or Deluxe kit or any language content pack).
