We are very proud to announce that we have finally launched the commercial release of Little Reader!
Firstly, I would like to thank all our members who have been helping to beta test the product, as well as those who have given us their constructive feedback. Little Reader is certainly a much better product thanks to all your efforts, and I hope that it brings you and your little one(s) as much joy as it has brought to those of us who designed it.
I would like to give you a quick summary of the Little Reader versions.
LITTLE READER HOMEThe product that has been beta tested over the past 4 months and which many of you are familiar with is now in the form of Little Reader HOME BASIC.
We are happy to announce that there is MUCH more in the pipeline – features such as the “create video” function, and a “split mode” to help your child more easily learn the rules of phonics – something that we believe is essential in learning to read.
While improvements will continue to be made to HOME BASIC (updatable for free), most of the major new features will be released in the future as part of HOME PLUS, the pricing and release date for which will be announced in due course.
We hope to begin beta testing HOME PLUS towards the end of this year (after beta testing of Little Math has commenced). HOME PLUS beta testing will be available to all members who have a commercial license for HOME BASIC.
All purchasers of HOME BASIC will be able to upgrade to HOME PLUS for the price difference (whether in terms of money or points), so if you purchase HOME BASIC now and upgrade to HOME PLUS later, you will not have lost out in any way by buying HOME BASIC now.One other thing - the good thing about buying HOME BASIC now is that it comes with Picture Editor. When HOME PLUS is released, HOME BASIC will not include Picture Editor anymore.
LITTLE READER LITEWe believe the ability to read is a fundamental skill, and our wish has been to make at least the core Little Reader functions accessible to as many parents and educators as possible. We have therefore also decided to release a LITE version of Little Reader, which is 100% FREE. Little Reader LITE comes with the crucial ability to export word library files, giving users unlimited time to earn loyalty points and thereby upgrade to HOME for free or at a discount. Of course, the loyalty points scheme and all the ways to earn points continue to be available on the forum.

I hope you will enjoy using the software in its present and future incarnations. As a parent who taught his baby to read, I will always have a special place in my heart for Little Reader.
