Unfortunately it's not possible to modify how the LR curriculum lessons are set up right now, so you may try either of these suggestions:
1. Play the category itself as a review lesson outside of your usual learning schedule (or right after the day's lesson). Just take note of which category that particular word belongs to (e.g., "Action Words 1") and in the Advanced Play/Edit screen, go to "Categories" and play that category. You may also want to try customizing the words to add your own pictures, videos, or even your own recordings and that might help your child remember the words more.
2. Play the same lesson again the next day or go back a few more lessons from before and play those again until you feel your son has become more familiar with the words from those lessons -- while the curriculum is already structured in a certain way, strictly following it is not necessary at all. You are free to repeat a lesson or two, or simply follow your own curriculum and take as much time as you need depending on what you think will work best for your son.
3. If you can spare a little more time to prepare a curriculum that will be more effective for your son, you can create your own playlist instead. Just go to the Advanced Play/Edit screen and go to "Playlists" for this.
