Mac, Linux, 64-bit Windows users - Please raise your hands!

I'm mac and linux only... however on my mac I have installed a virtual machine (VMWare Fusion) which has allowed me to use certain windows-only products. It cost about $70 but was well worth it for my needs.

You will need to install a windows image, though (it doesn't come with the VMWare Fusion download).

I am Mac user and would love to have LR and LM for Mac, howevere we managing so far with virtual windows, etc....

Hi!

Could you please explain me how can I download LR and LM to my Mac? Well, I actually did downloaded for the 14 day Free trial, but I could never open the software because my mac did not recognize it.

I only have iMacs at home and would love to have LR and LM, but I can't.

From what I understand at this point you would need to have some way to run windows in order to use LM or LR, there are a several ways to do that in MAC, you can even call mac support and see which of the eays to run windows on your mac would work for you, as I would not want to get into all the details here, and they will be able to better assist you with it

I use Windows 64-bit, no problems yet with LR.

REALLY NEED A MAC VERSION FOR BOTH LR AND LM!!!
what's up with that?  tried that wrap around that your tech support told me and it crashed my computer (i'm running 10.5+ w/intel).  for whatever reason it doesn't like it.

how about being able to run in classic mode OS9?  i have some doman CD roms that are able PC based but to run in classic OS 9 mode and they run perfectly.  would that be an easier fix?
let us know SOON... will buy everything once its compatible, but my child is not getting any younger so hurry up ;-)

My MAC is my downstairs laptop and I would MUCH rather run LR on that.  Honestly, I'm not using LR as much as I would like because I don't have a windows machine downstairs and my Vista laptop stays in my office.  So I have to brave taking the kids into my office to show them LR/LM.  Just doesn't happen everyday (or even every week) because it's not in my normal routine.

I don't want to sully my MAC with windows and it gets too cluttered to have two laptops downstairs...anyway, enough with the irrelevant details/excuses.

Count me in as a MAC user!!

OOOOHH now that would be awesome.  Would I need a mac version if I had an ipad version..... well, I don't have an iPad, but this would be a great reason to get one and have it be the 'kids ipad'  He's already a pro on my iphone.

Hi all

I am a Mac user and have run LR and LM successfully on parallel platform.

But will still prefer a Mac version because LR and LM run a lot slower on the virtual Windows 7 OS.
Can be frustrating when I have a 20 mth old and a 3 1/2 year old impatiently waiting ... sometimes scrolling can be slow ... maybe it's a RAM problem ... still thinking if upgrading my Mac RAM will be helpful (now it's 1 GB)

Also, switching platform is a nuisance!

I also have problems installing video files on LR and getting the files printed ... maybe I have some connection issues ...

So to run LR on Mac OS would be wonderful ... I'm sure LR and LM will run a lot faster!

Hope there are enough users to warrant a Mac version!

I would buy apps for the iPhone, my son is addicted to the LP app.
