Mistakes in LR content

A couple of mistakes I've come across. In the UK curriculum, the phrase 'eggplants are purple' is used as a voice over for purple. This is not UK English! It should be 'aubergines'. I seem to recall the word 'pants' being used instead of trousers but I can't find it now. There was also an issue when transitioning to the newest software, that one of the donkey phrases was changed and it played 'donkeys are smaller and shorter than horses *pause* they are smaller and shorter' but after entering the donkey slide and checking out the actual recording this problem has resolved.

In the Chinese curriculum, pictures of goats and sheep are played alongside the video for sheep. As a non Chinese speaker, I don't know if it is that they have the same name, but it is confusing after seeing the two animals separately in the English curriculum.

Yes, we've noted the "eggplants are purple" picture audio problem for the UK curriculum and you may expect that the recording will be changed to "aubergines are purple" in the next content update. Glad to know the other problems you found before are fixed now -- do let us know if you find any more issues and we'll be sure to get those fixed ASAP!

For your Chinese curriculum problem, I think you may be referring to 羊 which shows images and videos of both sheep and goat. Someone asked the same question quite a while back but you may have missed that thread, so here is the link for you:

I knew there was another one in there! The sound file for belt has 'we wear belts so our pants won't fall down' - I'm sure if my son was older he'd be giggling about putting belts on his underwear

We'll get that one fixed soon. In the meantime, you can just remove the actual picture audio recording from "belt" or replace it with your own recording so your son will know that belts are meant to be used on trousers 
 
To do this, just go to the Advanced Play/Edit screen and choose Categories:
 - Open the UK Semester 1 folder and select the "Things We Wear 1" category
 - Select "belt" and edit it, then in the Edit Word window, go to the Picture Slide tab
 - Select the picture audio file you want to remove and click on the X button, then add in your new recording (if any)
 - Click on Save to finalize your changes

Hi, in  a day 119, B2 multisensory lesson - the sentence says the baby is crying but the next slide, when it shows the crying baby , the voice says crawling.

Hi Lelask, thanks for that -- we'll get it fixed for the next update!

I've noted that in the current UK content version, the picture audio recordings for "The baby is crying" are both for the "crawling" one -- in the meantime you may choose to remove those wrong recordings from "People and Actions" > "The baby is crying" (you can follow the same steps above for it in the Advanced Play/Edit screen too:

 - Open the UK Semester 1 folder and select the "People and Actions" category
 - Select "The baby is crying" and edit it, then in the Edit Word window, go to the Picture Slide tab
 - Select the picture audio file you want to remove and click on the X button, then add in your new recording (if any)
 - Click on Save to finalize your changes

OR you can temporarily change this particular word so that LR plays the pronunciation instead of the picture audio files by putting a tick for the box that says "Play pronunciation instead"
