Mix LR with Little Musician

Hi Everyone!

I'm trying LR and LM. My son so far doesn't have much patience with LR, but he is loving Little Musician.

I wonder if there is a problem to mix both in a same session, with both programs open and using ALT+TAB between "Enters".
Of course I know it's possible, but my question is if it is not recommended considering all the theory behind these softwares.

I dont see any harm in doing it.

The whole idea of early learning is to make it fun and exciting for the baby.

I would suggest to simply keep the sessions shorter and actively joyfully participate yourself    You can always show just one part of the lesson and then do another part a bit later.

Thank you Skylark for the advices. I'm still trying everyday a new approach, but always with focus on the joy.
One problem is that I don't have all day for this. My son is enrolled in a full-time school.

I dont think it is a problem. Because you can always do just a session a day at the time that would work the best for you and your son, for example after the breakfast or during your parent time in the evening. The beauty of it  -- it is already prepared for you, it takes so-o much stress out of EL -- to have already prepared materials!

Well, just to let you know that after 33 days of lesson, my son now really enjoys LR. He even asks for it now. He doesn't like Pattern Phonics and Sight Words. We usually do like this:

A session of LM
A session of LR
A fast session on Thomas and Friends that I created for LR
A fast session on Transportation 1 category (I think this is the reason he likes LR, because of trains, airplanes and cars).

Since we don't have much time, we don't do session 2. Some days, we do this schedule in the morning and then session 2 at the evening, but it happens one time a week.
