Should i follow the curriculum as normal or repeat each lesson for a week?  i want to start early but dont want to push him too far too fast so that he doesn't understand.

Follow it and see how it goes.  Come back and repeat if you think necessary later, or just play from the Categories.

There are no rules to any of this - you should feel free to tailor the lessons according to your child's development, interests, and attention span.
