Hi LoulouChocolat,
First off, we're so sorry for missing your post.
We have replied to the support request you sent, and I'll also post the same here in case you see this before our email.
To answer your question, the French Curriculum currently doesn't have any Word Split lessons.
A typical day's lesson in French Sem 1 includes these parts (for each session):
- Word Flash
- Multisensory 1
- Pattern Phonics 1
- Multisensory 2
- Pattern Phonics 2
- Multisensory 3
- Picture Flash
- Game
As for French Sem 2 lessons, each day's session includes:
- Word Flash
- Multisensory 1
- Pattern Phonics 1
- Multisensory 2
- Pattern Phonics 2
- Multisensory 3
- Picture Flash
- Game
- Story Time
As there are no Word Split lessons in the French Curriculum, you can make your own set of French Word Split lessons in the meantime.
Alternatively, you can try re-playing the Multisensory sections of your French lessons with the Pointer turned on and with the pronunciations turned off. That way you can read out the words in a "Word Split" style for your baby.
You can turn on the Pointer and turn off pronunciations by using Override:
1. Open Little Reader and go to the PLAY COURSES or PLAY & EDIT screen.
2. Click the button named "Override OFF" (in bottom right corner of the screen) - the button name should change to say "Override ON" which means you have enabled Override.
3. Click the cog button beside the Override button to open the "Edit Override Settings" window.
4. In the "Basic" tab, click the switch (box with red circle inside) for "Pronunciation ON."
5. Make sure that the box between the switch and the "Pronunciation ON" label is UN-CHECKED (that means all pronunciation audio will be turned off during playback).
6. Next, click the switch for "Pointer ON," and CHECK the box between the switch and the "Pointer ON" label.
**In case you need a guide for Steps 4-6, please refer to the attached screenshot.
7. Once you're done with all your Override Settings changes, click the SAVE button.
After that, you can play your French Multisensory lessons again and this time you can read out the words by parts yourself. You can also move the pointer as you read each part of the word to guide your baby.
To switch your lessons back to the original playback setting, just click on the "Override ON" button to turn Override off.
I hope this helps!
