FYI- yes this is a brag post
. In my husbands family the children are practically born speaking. One even started signing and saying mom and dad at 3 months old. My child on the other hand, has taken a little longer. Which has been no surprise to me. I’m a super introvert who barely speaks
. Anyhow, I started LR and LM about a month ago and his verbal vocabulary has exploded! He uses 3 word expressions and has a vocab of about 30 words (in the right context) right at his 11 month birthday! Today I was counting his toes and he was even trying to repeat the numbers out loud. Not that I think he understands the numbers at this point but he actually said some of them correctly. Yes, my child would eventually be able to speak. But I don’t think he would be taking off as quickly without Little Reader and Little Math! So thank you Brillkids and this community for all of your hard work and time! I really appreciate it!
