I would like to clarify that you can only install and activate LR on up to 2 computers -- if you are currently using just one computer for your own LR lessons, then you can free up an activation slot for your friend's computer (note that you need to help her import your key).
To check your LR activation records, please go to your Account's "My Purchases" page. You may refer to this article for detailed instructions:
