The Create a Video Function

It would really be great to be able to play my own customized dvds at the sitters or in the car. This way my 4yr old and 3mos old would be watching something educational instead of just cartoons.

Since BETA testing is almost done, I'm wondering if you guys are planning to have the "Burn DVD" function available at all.  I'd be interested to know if you've decided that it's going to be too much trouble or something.  Please let me know.  Thanks!

Hi, I think this is a very useful function. I do not use YCBR and my baby gets bored quickly, so this would be great and convinient as well. I would be very glad if this function is unlocked.

More often, my toddler wants me to cuddle or breastfeed him
while watching DVD flashcards or LR. This will be very convenient to me since
I don't have to use one of my hands to press a button or the mouse.

Thanks for all the feedback, everyone. It's been made loud and clear that this Burn to DVD is in high-demand. The good news is, we are working on it to make it as good as we can. The bad news, however, is that it won't make it into the first commercial release version.

Since it won't be made into the first commercial release, i hope it will be available after the 1st version.
Can we still use our loyalty points for the 2nd release wherein the Create a Video Function is included?
My son oftentimes wants to lay down and wants me beside him while we do flashcards.
I think it is more easy for me to show him flashcards of LR if it's on DVD. I hope the 2nd version will not
take too long to wait.

Is it possible for example if we purchase the 1st version and then when the 2nd version is released
the 1st version that we have can be updated and will function just like the 2nd? of course we need to pay extra
to update what we have.
How's that as an idea? could that be possible so that we will no longer have to wait for the 2nd version
(just because of The Create a Video Function) since the 1st version can be upgraded anyway?

That's exactly our intention - we would like to give everyone an opportunity to upgrade their Little Readers, even if they have bought the first version, so that no one will have to wait to buy the program!    We have devised an upgrading system to cater to the needs of existing Little Reader users, and hopefully all of you will find it very easy to use!

 I think it will be great idea . Sometimes going to a friend  where there is more then one kid.You can put it on a vedeo or dvd and they see without messing on a keyboard.

I would LOVE a video option because we travel a lot and would love to take the media with us.  Currently my laptop is broken and I do not know when I will be able to replace it.

I think this is extremely important because being able to burn into VCD or DVD means

1. Any caregiver can play the video to the child which is great for working parents. Easy for any maid or grandparents to just play a disc.
2. We are able to revise the category with the child.
3. The child can see it while on the go (in the car), in grandparents house or anywhere. It can be shown to the child with their cousins and that creates a good learning home environment!
4. The child wont get bored because we can create a random environment instead of just sitting in front of the computer and not allowed to touch the keyboard!

I hope you unlock ASAP!!!!! THis will make Little reader the best !

This is very important, and especially good for those parents who works or keeps on travelling. Administrator are requested to start the same at earliest.

This feature will be part of Little Reader HOME PLUS, which we will begin beta testing after Little Math beta testing.  I expect this to be early next year.  The record video function is not the only new feature in HOME PLUS so we still need quite a bit of time.

For those who already purchased the home basic edition, do we need to pay more to get the home plus or you guys planning to use points or whatever for us to upgrade?
Its not very fair for us to pay more since we already purchase your first edition.
You should factor this in too..
