You'll also be getting a lot more media with the content.

Back to this topic, for me, the biggest difference between LR and PPT is that with LR (at least for our content), no lesson is the same!  Each time you play it back, you will get different pictures, different pronunciations, etc.  With the upcoming new content, this will be even more so.

I believe this is one of the keys to keeping a child's attention - keeping lessons and the content fresh! But of course, I'm very biased.
