Trying to download but having problems

Hi, I am trying to download my koala story but am having problems.  Can it be too big?  It seems to be timing out when downloading.  I get a page telling me I have a connection problem.  But it just seems to be taking forever to download it.  Can it be that the pictures I have are too big?  Just wondering,  I thought that the website was running slow because a lot of people were on last night but it does the same this morning.

That's very likely. Can you reduce the size of the pictures?

Do you mean when you are downloading someone else's files, or adding your own download?

Where are you located and what Internet connection speed/type do you have?

And as Nikki asked, what is the size of the file you are trying to add or download?

Hi KL, 

Well.................it is when I am trying to upload (?) my Katie the Koala story onto BrillBaby.  I exported it from my BrillBaby and was trying to upload it here to the little reader I wasn't able to, it seems to be timing out.  I am in San Diego working on a high speed cable modem.  I am not sure how to make my pictures smaller.  I don't think I have a program to do that for me.  I think if I right click on the picture I can resize it but not sure, last time I tried it didn't work for me.  I'll give it a go again though.  I think the story is 11,524 KB.  (does that sound right?)

Hi Koala Girl!

It would seem that your file size may be a bit too big, which is why the server keeps on timing out.  Maybe I can help you - you can send me the file and I will resize the images for you.

Simply just upload the file using this link:

Send me a PM when you have upload it, so that I can check our server.  And I will email you the file to upload once I've made it considerably smaller.
