editing LR word files - help pls.

Is it possible to edit a word from english into traditional chinese, record a new pronunciation in mandarin, and still keep the existing picture and video with it? I tried to do it using the edit function on the playback screen but could only get the word changed to one character. For example, I want to change "clap" to "拍 手" but it only saves the word as "拍". Is there a way to do this? Also, once I have edited the word, can I still keep the original english file as well as save the new chinese file? My idea was to translate the entire LR word library into chinese so I can do session 1 in english and session 2 in chinese. Having the same pictures and videos for both languages will help my baby understand that things are called different names in different languages. Is this possible?

Do you have a tentative date as to release of the Traditional Chinese curriculum? After I had posted my question above, I realized that rather than translating the entire LR library to Chinese myself, I may just as well wait for the Chinese curriculum to come out if it is projected to be in the next couple of months.
