Hi NadiaD, we haven't done full testing on Windows 8 yet, but we do know that you'll need to do a few extra steps because some prerequisite software are not enabled/installed in Windows 8 by default.
If you're about to install LR, LMh and LMs in your Windows 8 computer, please make sure you do these steps FIRST:
1. Open the Control Panel and go to "Programs"
2. Go to "Programs and Features"
3. Click "Turn Windows Features On or Off"
4. In the small window that pops up, check the box next to ".NET Framework 3.5" [this is an important prerequisite software]
5. Click OK
If you are asked to restart your computer, restart your computer and proceed with installing LR, LMh and LMs.
The actual LR, LMh and LMs installation steps are the same -- run the installer, import your content files, and then import your license key.
Another software required by all BrillKids software is Adobe Flash Player (without this, you won't be able to play any lessons). You can install Flash Player from the Support Tools window's "Install Adobe Flash" tab.
