I was wondering should we introduce to a child words that have the same spelling but different pronounciation and meanings, like tear (drop) and tear (a paper)...etc

or is this maybe too advanced ?? because sometimes they are pretty basic words but I don't know if they would get confused?

I wouldn't mind exposing them to both words, but I would keep them within their respective groups, eg., "tear" (a paper) would go with other action words.  I have no idea what "tear" (drop) would go with... Body parts? LOL

ok got you smile so not after each other so they won't be confusing but instead keep them  in their respective groups so that the child understands their meanings , right?

P.S. In arabic "man" and "leg" have the same words but are pronounciated differently, which is what got me thinking of this...

I guess tear could go into a category about maybe facial expressions? For example smile...frown...tear.. ...I'll do a word flash now Wink
