HI there!

Im in Bahrain, which is about 45 mins - 60mins plane ride.  Anwyay, wouldn't mind staying in touch with other moms online.

I have worked as a school teacher, early education, but currently am a stay at home mom.  I have known about Glenn Doman's Program and books and had purchased it before my son was born.  Even though I LOVED the concepts, due to my studies I wasn't able to start until recently.  He is 22 months.

I have always gone the non conventional route (so to speak) when it came to my child.  I did hypnosis for childbirth and had a water birth, and now unlike so many other parents am planning on homeschooling him till KG (sorry I can only do that much =)  I have also started teaching him English words, which im sure other parents would just see me as crazy.  But i believe knowledge is power and the more informed we are the more decisions we can make that are in the best interest of your child/ children.   

Would love to hear how other Dubai moms were able to teach other languages besides English.  I am trying to incorporate Arabic and Math, so was wondering if I should wait till I complete one or should I go ahead and do it simultaneously.

all what you are doing with your baby sounds great! I agree, its pretty unconventional around here to be doing any of the things you mentioned!

I did hypnobirthing too!!! how was your experience with that?? I opened up a thread to discuss with you! Would love to hear your opinion and how your birth went!

As for the languages, I would suggest you start the Arabic or the math right away, I don't see the need to wait at all, your baby will understand and shouldn't confuse both languages or anything
