Let's Teach Our Children Malay!

Hi All,

I've decided to make a new topic on this Language since the board "How To Teach Your Child English "suddenly" becoming a topic on how to teach our children Malay. Hehhehe..

As Malay & Muslims Mummies, I'm proud that parents in this forum want to teah their child Malay. Its actually an easy language to learn .

So, if there is anything you all need to ask us in Malay, feel free to ask. Mummies from Malaysia is very happy to help u!!

ye ye betul....  kena ajar semua bahasa lagi bagus.. atau pun kalau org melayu at least ajar anak 3 bahasa, english, malay and arabic..

boleh, ni board How to learn Malay so shud be ok i guess. Hheheh..

ya rite, dapat 3 bahasa pun dah rasa bagus dah tuh..like my time before, dapat lah  sikit-sikit bhs Arab, but never tried to converse in that language so habis gitu jer.

hopefully there're mothers who converse in Arab can download some of the  words in Arab so that we can download it using LR, Hhehehe..

BTW, me a WAHM stay @ Klang..Feel free to share ur expertise & experiences here ok..

Hi,

Is there an online or offline program that I can purchase so I can help my future baby to learn the malay language with ease. I am a bit worried because we will moving to my hubby country in a year and afraid she won't know her heritage much.

I bought KBSR books from Standard 1 to 6 for her to learn Bahasa Melayu but I think I can use that only when shes able to read and understand the language first.

I have checked a bit in Brillkids LR download files but none that translate things into Malay.

Please advise.

Hi Phiandora,
To my amazement, I noticed that too! I said to myself is there really no one wanted to learn this language?? 

To learn the language with ease, I dont know    since even my husband cound't pick up some area in malay language like 'penjodoh bilangan' etc. I have made some files in malay for my little girl but since you asked I will import some files to the forum.

for children its batter to start from some lite course or with some journal talk..
parents should start talking in malay and keep its atmospheric learn
