Baraem > First Arabic Preschool TV Channel (ages 3 - 6)
Baraem is the first pre-school Arabic television for children between the age of 3 and 6 years old offering a range of programs specifically tailored for them.
Through joyful, simple and enlightening content, Baraem educates the young audience and facilitates their safely interaction with the surrounding world. The Channel accompanies kids through their early formative years of learning, and offers a rich content that helps them develop their social skills and intuition.
Baraem TV programming strategy is carefully designed to counterpart the pre-schoolers and their mothers during their daily routines. A typical Baraem day starts with an active tone celebrating the sun rise; the level of mental and physical actions increases mid-morning to fit the kids energy boost; in the early afternoon the young viewers are offered a rich and diverse educational content introducing them to Arabic letters, numbers, colors, shapes, etc; the Channels rhythm slows down as the bed time approaches in an attempt to help mothers prepare their youngsters to sleep.
Baraem broadcasts 17 hours daily, and is free to view on Arabsat, Nilesat, Hotbird reaching all Arab countries and Europe.
Baraem programs and the interactive website (baraem.tv) are specifically designed to aid mothers, nurseries and kindergartens teachers by providing them an array of innovative child engaging ideas and tools for their everyday activities.
Baraem is funded by Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development, and managed by Al Jazeera Childrens Channel.
