Hi all,
I am new here. Please hear me out.
My daughter is 8 years old and she is too brilliant in her studies. She always tops in each class. A few weeks back, she was having fever. We took her to our family doctor and he prescribed some medicines. But still, the fever was increasing day by day. We took her to another hospital in the city. She was admitted there and they did a lot of tests for her to understand what actually the problem was. They started treating her. She was given a lot of injections and medicines. 2 days later, she suddenly started developing a fix and she was taken into the ICU. The doctors later came and told us that her right side was fully paralyzed. She was also having difficulty in talking.
The doctors claim that it was due to the intensity of the fever and the fix. But we really doubt it was a case of medical malpractice. I never liked the attitude of the doctors from the beginning. I really feel they gave her some wrong medicines because of which she is paralyzed. We have
consulted a medical malpractice lawyer in Toronto. We are planning to file a case against the doctors. We want to know the truth behind this. And if the doctors are responsible for my daughter’s present condition, they should be punished.
I have no idea how to bring her out of this. I will take her to any specialist, do any treatment. I really wish no mother has to see her daughter like this.
