Hi. I am hoping to complete a special needs scholarship in the next few weeks but i need a couple clarifications on the documents we need to submit. I have a copy of a letter from our doctor from a couple years ago that states her diagnosis of down syndrome but it was to a society that helped us get an Ipad for her - will that suffice or do you need something more current and directed to you? No questions about the birth certicate. Now, the other two choices are financial documents and recommendation letter. It seems there are only three upload boxes on the application form, so which item is most pertinent? I can easily send you either. I believe our financial status is such that we would qualify that way as well as special needs. thank you for help. We have been using the trial on the Ipad but i am anxious to get the whole program. We are hoping to make it a part of her public school curriculum.
Hi BEM,
Like Waterdreamer mentioned ( thank you, Waterdreamer!) just go ahead and apply and we will take it from there. We will work with you! As far as the letter from the doctor, that was addressed to another Society, I do not think there is a problem there, just attach it as is. First, it is not like a financial letter, where situation changes from year to year, secondly, we know how much goes into caring for your child, and we only requiring the minimum documents needed for scholarships, and are very flexible.
Looking forward to hear from you soon,
Natalie (for EEECF)
