I bought their beginning math program to use with my 9 1/2 year old daughter with autism. I have to admit that we really haven't put any time into it so I can not give a valid opinion. I need to pull it out again - maybe that should be my goal for the coming year! She can rote count to 39 or more but can not concretely count numbers past about 4 even though we have tried for years. Personal opinion though is that if you are looking at the beginning math program it is not necessary to actually buy it. From memory I felt that most of it was freely available from their website and Dr Jones sometimes does introductory seminars and just basic understanding of math/numbers. Also, so sorry Dr Jones, but I really felt that their materials needed serious updating and I was disappointed with the quality. Hopefully they are/have worked on that when they have started putting their materials in CD format. Of course I realise that it isn't all about cute graphics and nice printables (content is so much more important) but it helps me feel a bit more excited about it
I do have math 3 as well for my (NT 5 year old) son and although I have put that to the side at the moment (we have been doing serious work to get through Saxon 5/4) I will be pulling that out again soon. The thing that I like from that program is the memory pegs etc... Again would have loved nicer graphics...
