newly pregnant and need advice

Hi. I'm 6 weeks pregnant. I read several topics hear about what I should do during pregnancy and about prenatal aducation. I have some questions.I will appreciate if someone answeres me.

first of all
i want to ask that when should i start to do these prenatal educations? is now too early and I have to wait until I'm 4-5months?
second, I downloaded one booklet from here which I saw in one of threads but I can't find there now. it's about soul bounding with baby in womb. Have anyone done this soul bounding method while pregnancy?could you please explain me your experience? it's like meditation method isn't?

I heard that right brain classess have prenatal courses. what do they do in clessess?I mean how do they stimulate  fetus's brain?

in that "soul bounding" booklet it was written in one place that: "prenatal education is widely practiced in
the East--with classes for mothers-to-be teaching foreign languages, classical music,
art...even math and science." how?for example math and science! do they teach these to mothers or have methods that makes fetus have a potential of great math when he is born?

Hi,

I can only have one answer for you, you asked about teaching math to a fetus.

I do not know about the specific course you are talking about, but the technique that I read about was as follow:
1. Teach your fetus about numbers by tapping gently on him.  Say "one" and tap once and pause for a couple of seconds, say "two" tap twice etc. but keep it simple, only do numbers up to 10.  Do once a day from about 4 months pregnent until birth, do the numbers in random order and have a good pause inbetween numbers so your child learn with ease.

2. Start teaching addition a month after quantity has been introduced, say "one" tap once, say "plus", say "three" tap three times, say "equals", say "four" tap four times.  Make up any small sums, you can also introduce subtraction.  Remember to be very consistent, don't say "plus" today and "and" tomorrow, don't say "equals" today and "is" tomorrow.

I did this but haven't seen any results to speak of.  I started Little Math when my baby was 12 months old, it was always hard to keep him interested in learning the quantities, but now that we are starting addition, he all of a sudden thinks the program is the best thing ever.  Maybe he remembers something from his prenatal experiances??

i didnt know about prenatal education when i was pregnant.
i found this for u to use while pregnant http://www.lullabelly.com/index.html and it a good way to stimulate the baby.

i used babyplus http://www.babyplus.com/index.php the whole pregnancy but i cant recommend it bec i knew about early education after the baby is born and we followed it and absolutely found result with it.

This could be a very late response.  But I have some inputs to be shared here in this forum, so that it can be useful for other Mom to be moms...
What does "Prenatal Stimulation" means? - The answer is "Stimulating your child right from your womb".
Right from the day one of your pregnancy, you can start talking your kid (dont juz think it has not fully grown).  Start embrace your kid by rubbing your hands on your precious belly and provide a sooth and soft touch often to your babe in the womb.  She will start feeling it and the feel will increase as days go on..
Your baby can hear your talking and at times you can receive her response during your 7, 8 and 9th months..
Always be happy - one important thing during your pregnancy
Listen to a lot of soft and lovely music.
Do meditate early in the morning and during bed times.
Always have positive thinking - very very important.
And think of what kind of characters your kid should have - start talking those stuffs to your kid from 6th month owards.
eg: "Hi bebo, I love you so much.   You should always have a cute smile on your face".  kind of soothing talks.
Prepare a list of items like this and read out louder so that your cuty can listen in your womb.
Do alpha meditation.

I rather like the following article.It states about the many ways we can bond with our unborn baby.it also gives 12 exercises we can do with the baby. i have no idea if it works or not but positive thinking is always useful.

From what I see about Soul Bonding, it is very similar to a book I read when pregnant with my second daughter: Creating a Joyful Birth Experience: Developing a Partnership with Your Unborn Child for Healthy Pregnancy, Labor, and Early Parenting http://www.amazon.com/Creating-Joyful-Birth-Experience-Partnership/dp/0671870270/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1383150675&sr=8-1&keywords=lucia+capacchione+pregnancy by Lucia Capacchione and Sandra Bardsley, which integrates art and journaling to explore one's feelings about being pregnant. It's a great book!

First, apologies to sound a bit of disagreement here.

Scientifically, there is no proven prenatal education. Even the Baby Plus or the other belt or contraptions do not have scientific merit whatsoever. Baby Plus even dares to show a demonstrably fake "scientific" paper by an unknown author from an unknown journal. Worse yet, these devices could cause deafness in your baby. So, I would suggest you to stay away from all these.

Bonding techniques may work, but again, no scientific merit so far. Music or mediation has little to no effects to the unborn baby. Mental health might be beneficial and that might be influenced positively by meditation.

I think the scientifically sound way to "improve" the condition of your baby is through eating healthy and exercise.
