Advice needed! How to pick toddler chair/ table

I am thinking to buy a little toddler table and chair,
I found something that might be OK, but... It is expensive.

Does anybody can recommend me a website  where I can buy something like that for less or recommend me a brand you're using for your child?
I liked the model above because the chair has armrests, and table can be used both for meal times and reading, drawing.

Hi Nadia,

I agonized over this question when I started reading up on Montessori methods and realized I wanted to acquire several child-sized objects, like furniture, dishes, silverware, etc. etc. The prices for tiny wood furniture were very high!

We ended up buying this set from IKEA and sawed down the legs to our boy's height on our own, so that when he sat at the table, his feet were touching the floor. It has worked out very very well:

I m in seasrch of a table set too..
I love that table set you linked Nadia, but I wish they have the same type of style with 2 chairs..

We did EXACTLY what mom2ross did (I got the idea from either a blog or a youtube video; maybe yours?  ) and it worked out great for us as well. I actually sawed off the legs myself and it took me less than 30 minutes but I think you can also take it to Home Depot or any hardware store and have them do it for a small fee. It would probably still work out to be much cheaper than the other sets out there.

Our Ikea is several hours away from me, so I called my Mom to ask her to pick up the LATT table & chairs set for me. But I went online, the set is sold out online with no date of what it will be restocked, it is also out of stock at all 3 of the potential Ikeas I could have gotten it from and a handful of other stores I checked just to see if they had it.

Has this been discontinued? That doesn't make any sense, because it says "new" on the picture of it when you type it in the search box. For those that have bought this table, how long ago did you get it?

I am still checking out my local craigs list daily too looking for a set, although I would prefer the Ikea one and the price is right.

That item sold out at my store as well, but I've checked the catalogue and they have some other ones.

I enjoyed reading this thread and looked at Target for tables.  I found some kids table and chairs from  $50 to $200, here is the link

As tlyoung's link shows I would bye a chair of each color. It look very joyfull.
I once saw here a desk and chairs where each chair had the back as if it where an animal (lion, hypo, giraffe etc) they where really nice but a litlle expensive. If i can i will get a picture of them, maybe you can get someone to do them.
