Hi All
I'll be traveling for a long period and am considering buying a little laptop which would be powerful enough to use LR, a basic word processor and the internet.
I do not want a real laptop- I already have a computer but I am not the administrator and it is inconvenient that I can not access LR on my account conveniently.

Any one can recommend a good tiny laptop? Thx!

There are many out there now. Just make sure it has at least 2 GBs of ram, and an adequate hard drive. The processor should be fine on anything new that you buy. The main problem of the little laptops is that the screen is so small. It may be hard to keep your child's attention.

Gabriel's dad has had several different brands, and I think he liked the Samsung the best.

Thank you so much nhockaday. Sorry I did not thank you earlier, but I was busy researching the notebook. I've settled on a MSI (Wind) which is not a very famous brand (yet) but was recommended to me...
I hope the screen size won't be an issue with concentration.
Would you believe I'm only buying it so I can use LR with my daughter while we'll be away from home... LOL  It's a big investment but hopefully I'll get years of use out of it.
