Any recommendations for purchasing globe?

I am planning to purchase a talking globe that comes with a reader pen giving lots of information about the places. I came across these globes through other blogs:

Have you used any of these personally. Do you have any suggestions?

We had talking globe ( Bratz, it was given as a gift) and a regular one. My daughter played around with the talking one for a few days, and then just preferred the regular one, where we would sit together and talk about different countries. Of course we would be able to do the same with the talking globe but I think it was too distracting to have all those buttons and paraphernalia on it ( pointer with an airplane, etc). So may be when you chose one, try to chose the one that does not have too many extras around the actual globe, so it is not too distracting. Just an idea.

I also think a regular one is a good choice, you get real big ones, colourful or photo image, different labelings etc. hahaha 

Brain Rules for Baby said: "no electronic device ever improved a baby's intelegence" I think about that quote a lot, but then again.... LR is working working working for my 1 year old (or it seems to for the time being,)  and we spend lots of time reading omBooks and looking at photo's on the tablet, so I'll be a hypocrite if I told you not to buy the fancy globe because its "electronic," but I wouldn't buy it.     

But now I'm not even answering your question at all, so sorry, please don't bad karma me 

I would choose Replogle 12" Intelliglobe if I had to, the other two seem more like toys than educational tools.

Thanks for your suggestions and saving me few bucks. If the electronic one is broken, its just a regular globe. So I better invest in a good regular globe.
