I took Mandabplus3's advice and I am getting the game shipped to a friend in the US who will then ship it on to me - hopefully that will be cheaper. Is it $160 to ship to the UK too?

If you ever wanted to go for it and get not only the membership but IQ FunPark as well, this may well be the time to do it!
As Mela Bela posted, all through March they are having a 'March Madness' sale for a 90% savings on membership, and using the Newmember30 code will save you an additional 30% for a total cost of $70 for the year....
BUT! I just received an email that says for the rest of this week the IQ Funpark game is on sale for 50% off with code SPRING! (You already get a $100 off with membership, so it should end up costing under $100 instead of nearly $300  
WAY less than what I Paid!

EDIT: After speaking with Karen, a bit of clarification! The 50% off IQ FunPark sale is actually through the sister site, www.Testingforkindergarten.com.  This means that the 50% discount is off of the original price--you cannot use the $100 membership discount from TestingMom.com membership. So, the total cost for the game would be just under $150.00. Still, an awesome deal!  Especially since this also includes a bonus gift (value $45) of the additional NNAT and WPPSIV preparation cards. So I am still on the fence about getting the top 1% membership. I only want access to the questions, brain pop and the app. Really i can get probably enough questions for free, and I have the brainpop jr app already. So really i just want access to the app.
Broken down monthly the deal with codes is amazing. But $70 is a LOT of money for us.
Does anyone have a review on the app? It just won't be worth it if the app has few questions, glitches or something.

The app is due out 'sometime this Spring'. I will let you know what we think of it

There currently is an app. Search the ithing App Store for testing mom. It is called ready or not. You can download it but you can't access it unless you are in the 1%.

If the new app coming out means I don't have to be in that 1% I will surely wait.

I will have to check and see if there is to be a completely new app, or why the deal is...

What agegroup does the site cater for?

An advanced 2 year old to maybe grade 6. But I am not sure on the high grade. I just saw test prep for up to grade 6.

The purpose of the site was to help children test for prestigious NYC preschools. So 3-5 years old would have been the initial target age.

I enrolled in a 3-month subscription for testingmom.com, but was charged TWICE. They "auto-renewed"my subscription, without any notification. I called the next day they charged me to get reimbursed, and never got my money back.  Their website is very disorganized and many of the materials has errors. I would definitely never recommend them to anyone, and am very disappointed that they charged me twice for their mediocre services.

I would contact customer service again, they are always very quick to reply anytime I have needed to contact them. I'm sorry you're feeling disappointed!
