I have the 2 dvd set, which covers 200 sight words. Most words are boring, like 'it' and 'and.'.. prepositions, conjunctions, that sort of thing. But relevant and necessary to know for being able to read.
I would definitely recommend these as you learn 100 words per disk!! And the 2 disc set is very cheap. The may not be as entertaining as some, but they arent painfully boring like meet the sight words and you can watch them in shorter segments.
They involve a girl holding up flashcards, and dancing around, while the word is said (or chanted) about 5 times and you see the word written on screen in different fonts doing different things to be colourful and entertaining. Then at the end of that segment, the words are also spelled out and then said whole a couple of times, but as a chant. So you hear the word about 7 times and spelling twice, which helps with learning the alphabet. All lower case.
