Ok so I went to Accelerated Learning Methods website, which is a right brain type learning website and I downloaded some of their free memory games for babies/kids.  The Silly Games download is wild.  I was laughing because the way the parts of the story connect to each other is just crazy.  I would absolutely love it if my baby was about 3 or 4 years old because the story would be so entertaining and different than anything they normally hear that I think it would really have a creative impact on them.  But right now my baby is 13 months and I think it might be really confusing for her.  Tell me what you think about it. I'd downloaded and seen them and still don't show it to my 2 y/o son 'til now.
Maybe at the age of 3 or 4.  I also have the same feeling as yours.
Would really love to hear other opinions too!

Hi,

Just tried the Flashem game.  I have not yet downloaded all the free games.  I showed the flashem game to my toddler and he loves.  The flashing is so fast.  It really taps the right brain.

I just checked out their Rapid Flashing game and is it lightening fast.  My 13 month old daughter was really enthralled but I'm wondering if was just entertaining because of the speed and blinking or if she was absorbing it.   Makes me wonder if LR flashes too slow.   

Question - how does a baby know that the word shown relates to the picture that comes after it not the picture that came before it? As adults we know, but how would a child know?

This game is flashing faster than the guy can even talk.  As a matter of fact, it sounds like they sped up the audio to keep up with the high speed flashing.   

Their games are really cool though.

I think what comes first and next connect i.e. how it starts makes sense.
My 4, 8 and 10 year olds enjoyed all of the games and did well. The SillyStory we did page by page and then tested all three. They missed one or two cards in the order. My 2.5 y.o. doesn't handle the mouse well, so I didn't try. She was watching happily and usually I don't test her as I think she absorbs everything just by being there.
