Memory Magic experience

Hi

I would like to know your experience with Memory Magic,  or anyway to use it effectively please.

I bought those game cds recently, looking forward to compliment Little Reader with those Bits of intelligence, silly stories, follow that dot exercise. However the games are run on Internet Explorer landscape so all menu bars stay to distract the baby. Also the screen and letters are small, as well as the cards (for silly stories on the screen) are too small for young babies (even though the games claim to be for children as young as 6 months old). Connecting the computer to a big television screen does not help the case either.

Anyone have some way to overcome these problems please???

By the way if anyone wants to increase the font size for Little Reader to as big or bigger than what Doman recommends, you can use your big television as a monitor, the quality of the image not changed.

My experience has been really good and to be honest better than I thought. I viewed the dvd when I first got it and it wasn't what I thought it was going to be, but I showed it to my son and nephew anyways and they loved it. They both love the background music and listening to the silly stories and as long as it is on they both stay tuned in. I do remember to stop before they want to stop and then we end with a little dance session they have to the background music

I haven't printed them out yet, but I think that if you are worried about the font  size there are lots of printout, including the bits that you can start with. Have you shown the dvd to your little one yet? Even though my son likes it, I am not sure how much he is getting out of it, but I don't worry about it. He enjoys it and I leave it at that.

As far as the games running on Internet Explorer and seeing the menu bars, I don't know why that is because mines opens up as if I am watching a movie on the computer and all that I see on the screen is what is included on the dvd. After you put the disk into the computer how do you go about opening it up?

Are we talking about the same Memory Magic? My one are 2 cd's, not dvd??? And the instruction said to copy it to the computer, then open a file named Start.html

Hi,
Memory Magic had only been available in PC-CDrom format .
Last time it was 1 CD .Now it has been divided into 2 cdroms and launched few days back named Silly story and super flash and is available in certain stores.I see from MemoryMagic website they still have old version format but the contents are exactly the same.I had been happy with the purchase.

I tried to  download the free version but I cannot play it.  I already downloaded the shockwave software.  When I click the 'click here to continue', it didn't do anything.  I wanted to try it first before I'll buy it.  But unfortunately, I cannot try it.  Anybody could help me?  Thanks

I found a way to make menu bar of Internet Explorer to disappear (function key F11). However the menu of the game itself stays. And the actual screen where the game is playing/showing stays the same small size, not enlarged.

I maybe fussy but I don't want to present a picture of an elephant to my baby when she can also see lots of other things together with the elephant. Also icons are small for her to pick up, and I don't want to risk straining her eyes.

I want to buy memory magic the hold back is:  After reading the blog I have to agree with the distractions, I want would like my child to just be able to focus on the intended object, which sounds like it is not FULL SCREEN as a normal CD rom game would be.  Is this a correct assertion on Full Screen?  Are all the 4 cd in the deluxe game the same as far as screen size, small?

Which dvd are you talking about. I got a CD of memory magic delux set. Just a CD.

And I feel the interface is not good in it. The menubars are other things will still be there on the screen which flashing cards.

And they are not providing printed cards !
They are giving printable cards (.pdf) !
