interactive TV toys

Has anyone used any interactive toys that have a dvd and interact with what's onscreeN?  Like Tiny Love MagiQ for instance.  I'd be interested in a product review... do they teach speech? Anyone recommend anything?

That's a great product! I wanted to recommend it many times but just forgot the name!

Felicity loved it.  We played teh DVD often, as well as in the car.

For those who haven't heard of it, I would highly recommend it, esp for ages 0-2.

Got it for $25 aussie, plus $10 postage, but had I not bought it now I mightve got it cheaper... but when I saw the price of the other one for sale, and then the price from the company, I realised it was a bargain. It seems there are the baby age, and a 12-36 month one, which I got.

Wow Nikita, the cheapest I have been able to find it for on Ebay is $61 Aussie and that is still being bidded on. That is for 12-36 month one. I have seen a brand new baby one for around $50 Aussie but thats not the one I want. You must have been lucky.

That's because the people who sell list things so differently they dont all end up at the same place. And might not sound like the item.  I bought the "educational teddy toy cow that talks with childs DVD". I stumbled on that probably looking up "educational DVD". There's way more on ebay that we would be interested in but just cant find.

Hey Nikita you said that you got the 12-36 month one, did you get the toy with that or was it just the add-on to the 4-12month one.

I have been looking around and can buy the 12-36 month one for only $30 Aussie brand new, and the 4-12month one is $50 Aussie brand new, which makes me believe that you can only get the toy with the starter pack which is the baby one.

Cant say for sure, as I havent got it in the mail yet, I just bought it... the dvd cover says for 12-36 months, and there's a toy cow... and a cd.  That's all I know...

Ihave never heard of this toy before.  Thanks for the information.  I will look into it for my little one.  You parents out there have such great advice and I really appreciate being a first time mom.
