The course is NOT the same as the DVDs. I don't have the course but I did look right into it all. There is quite a bit of information about how to use their program in their book also. But it is a bit like reading between the lines. It took a lot of reading all over the place to piece it all together. I did find their book worth while to purchase and much cheaper to get an overview than the course. Then if you want more look into the course. I agree that doing the course for the wink program would be more beneficial, but doing any would probably give you some transferable skills to use in either age group.
The tuning forks are used by "banging" them to get them to resonate and then holding them very close to your child's ear, allow them to listen and then say the name of the note that that tuning fork makes. In time your child will learn perfect pitch in this way. MeleBala, that is a lot of money to spend and not use! Get those forks out!
Hope that helps.
Thank you. I think I will get the book as i am a better reader than listener :-). The online course is quite expensive too. It costs $98.
