My husband and I have not really bought many toys for our son. Probably because you can't get many good quality ones in this country, but also we tried to use what we already had to simulate him. Not to say he doesn't have any, his Grandparents, Uncles and Aunties have all got him quite a number over the years and his toy box is full). I must say though that three things that we did get him and that he has had from one and a half that he still uses and enjoys every single day are:
1) His coloured and plain wooden blocks
2) His wooden trolley
3) His lego (large blocks in the beginning and the smaller ones from about three years old)
Another toy was his self push moterbike - although he is now riding his bike properly without trainer wheels so it's not used much these days. But he had loads of fun on that I tell you!!!
Would love to hear about the toys you would reccommend.
