Kinderbach
http://www.kinderbach.com/Kinderbach is a music instruction program for children introducing them to playing the piano and reading notes.
They have three products, of which I reviewed the online piano lessons "Learning Center":
http://www.kinderbach.com/shopping/shop.htmlThere are 6 lessons for the whole curriculum, each lesson has 10 weeks and each week has 4 classes. The lessons are videos, with coloring pages as a supplement integrated within the lessons. The videos are slideshow-like with the founder inside them; instructing, singing or narrating a cartoon.
You can check the curriculum and what the lessons teach in details here:
http://www.kinderbach.com/Classroom/curriculum.htmlEverything is a bit slow, so this is perfect for preschoolers, while older children might enjoy this as well if they dislike formal piano lessons, but they might find it too slow at times. These lessons don't need any kind of musical background at all, plus they are fun, basic and interactive.
The curriculum uses stories to teach the keyboard and songs to teach sounds, rhythm, note-reading and technique. You'll need a piano after the first couple of weeks to practice on.
You can go through 2 whole weeks of free lessons here before you decide if this is something for your children:
