Phonics DVDs?

Can you recommend a good phonics dvd? I looked at the Fruity ABC's one on their website and do not like how they pronounce the sounds.  The BBC ones are ok, but not enough emphasis on reading and very expensive! Do you know of a good one?

have you tried the Letter Factory by leapfrog. my child loves it and she knew almost all the sounds before we saw this but this DVD reinforced them .

Sorry I fogot to mention dd knows all the sounds and letters, I want a dvd that will focus on putting the sounds together and reading words.  Does the Leap Frog one do that?

Not the letter facotry one, but "The Talking Words factory", "The talking words factory 2", and "The code word caper" focus on phonics.

I Too recommend the Leap frog series of DVDs. My son has been watching these dvds since he was 17 months, he knew all his sounds and alphabet by 18 months  and at 22 1/2 months was already putting 2 letter words together on his own.  Just a week ago I was standing back watching him at his magnetic board and he put the "c" and the "t" together, said "cat"  and appeared to be staring at the letters like his brain was trying to make sense of what he was looking at...then he got the letter "a" and put it after the "t".....looked at it again and proceeded to move the t away, moved in the "a" and placed the "t" after it and then said cat again.  He reasoned out how the letter should look and definitely understands the concept of putting letters together to spell a word.  When left on his own to work he has spelled out "or", "in", "by" my, no, so, go, , and a few other 2 letter words.  He's been doing this for the past few weeks, however this past week was the first time I saw him attempt it with a 3 letter word and yesterday when I went to look at one of the magnetic boards he works on, I saw the word "wait". Now I wasn't paying attention when this was done so I don't know if this was simply a coincidence of  letters coming together while he was  playing or if in fact he saw the word in his head and pieced it together.  I really think it was the former however I can't help but wonder...Also he is an only child and I know neither his father or I did it so..who knows.. we'll soon see.

No doubt Leapfrog is the best for elementary learning of phonics.

For more advanced learning, I am torn between Let's get Smart Phonics series & Rock N Learn Phonics Vol 1&2 which cover vowels, consonants, blends, digraphs "rules breaker" etc.

Any review is appreciated!
