I've got both Touch Math numerals (3 sets of 0-9 with dots = $90 - I won it in a giveaway but was curious about the price so checked it out online) and the Jones Genius (aka Matrix Math) materials. My son is three. I really feel that the JG method works best for our family...particularly my sense of order. If I, the teacher, don't connect with the material I won't be positive when I attempt teaching my son. I'm just not thrilled with the double dot thing of Touch Math. Yes, their manipulatives are pretty and sturdy, but I really like the idea of single dots - so, when I can, I use the Touch Math manipulatives in teaching the JG counting
Also, making JG manipulatives isn't really that difficult and I think it has the potential to bring more ownership to your math sessions. PLUS, the customer service is barr none! Also, they have online groups for your child to join (somewhat like classes - but not really) - I like this opportunity, too. But exactly as Waterdreamer said, this works for OUR family, and every CHILD and FAMILY is different...which makes committing to a program so hard - everyone has a different review
