Educational DVDs of Chinese (mandarin) Children's shows?

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if there are any people from China/Taiwan who can recommend titles of education children's shows which are shown in China?

I know you can get Dora in Chinese.  My niece watches the cantonese version (she understands Cantonese) but will recite the emphasised English words!  I would prefer to get DVDs which are purely in Mandarin - preferably with chinese character subtitles (if there is English - then it's a bonus)

I've found a show called Qiao Hu Baby  巧虎宝宝版 which appears to be quite good (on youku).  Are there any other's you would recommend?  I have a friend who might be able to buy some DVDs from China for me.

I've found this show called Ni Hao, Kai-lan on NIC channel. It's very good and educational!!
It introduces its viewers to the Mandarin Chinese language, along with elements of Chinese culture and values, multiculturalism (through the diverse backgrounds of Kai-lan's friends), and intergenerational families (e.g., Kai-lan and her relationship with Ye Ye). Ni Hao, Kai-lan also helps to support social and emotional development for preschoolers through cause and effect problem solving. This includes helping Hoho learn to be patient, helping Rintoo calm down because he's too mad, and helping Tolee to take responsibility for his actions.
My almost 2 years old boy loves it and has learnt some mandarin words from this show also!!
I really reccomend it!

Hi, 
This is a great educational series and a good deal for the English/Chinese versions, 20 for 5 dvd's!  Normally 1 for $20!  My boys love it!
