when you laminate your cards you don't find them a bit glary  for the eye . our house is very well lit , bright with lots of windwos and i find that laminated cards reflect images which can be disturbing for babies visison . even GD during the lectures mentioned it and said that parents be careful when they flash laminated cards to their kids .
or are you using matt sleeves ??
