Tweedlewink - Video Quality

Is the DVD video quality bothering anyone else? I bought the complete package and I am more than a little disappointed with the pixelated images. I am using a  11 x 17 size computer screen. Am I missing something here or doing anything wrong? Any insight is much appreciated!

I found that quality is OK for watching on our computer screen and is a bit on a low end side when we try watching it on the larger screen. I think it is the matter of the format ( it does not look like they use HD, and nowadays everyone is used to HD), but we just make do with it, as content is definitely worth it.

Bit by bit I am creating my own lessons in LR courses, which eventually would replace TW use for me altogether (isnt LR course creator an awesome tool?!), and would allow me more variety and flexibility ( and my own quality images). But for the ready made program I think they are definetly worth it.

And I also wanted to mention -- if you do have any concerns about quality, you can contact TW directly, they have nice customer support and I found that they always answered questions in timely manner. Perhaps there is a problem with your particular set, or many be there is a need to put a certain setting on your regional player? I am sure they would be more then happy to help you!

I really love the content its just the quality I am having a hard time with; a bitter pill to swallow after shelling out big bucks. I tried the DVD on a Mac and it was better than on my windows desktop. I did write to their customer service as well. Will update this post when I hear more.
I haven't tried making any of the lessons on LR; my son really enjoys the program though. I do have some plans of doing so in the future.

I finally got some answers from the company. Apparently the optimum viewing medium is a television for this program. Although that’s how we started; on a 46 in set and it wasn’t even remotely decent. May be a smaller television screen would work better! Things are much better on the macbook pro we are currently using though.
My feedback on the program: The content is fantastic but the quality of pictures isn’t. I also don’t fancy the clip art/cartoon images in the lessons. I remember Pamela mentioning how real images were better than cartoons. If I had known this (video quality issue) previously, I would still buy TW but may be complain a bit less.

I recently purchased Tweedlewink.  We are on dvd #3.  I have a 55" plasma TV and the picture quality seems appropriate for the content.  I've seen richer sharper colors/objects with other programs but I don't see any issues on my end.  The cable going from my DVD player to the TV is an HDMI cable though.  What cable are you using going from dvd player to TV?  Not trying to say that's your problem....  just saying perhaps you are running into a cable resistance issue or something like that.  TV is 1.5 years old, DVD player is 1.5 years old as well.

Thanks John! That was a valid point. We were using the Playstation 3 connected to an LCD TV through an Onkyo receiver with an HDMI cable (phew!). The whole system is set up for high definition. May be this is all a bit too much for the program. One of these days we have to connect a regular DVD player to the TV directly and see if that is the problem.
