again mot sure it is the right place to put this post but here we go :

I had the first monki see dvd  all about me from july last year with all the flashcards , dd was than 3.5 years and ds was only 10 months old . i  play it once or twice a week and my kids love it .i thought it will be babyish for my dd and wouldn't hold her attention , i was wrong , both of them will sit mesmerized by it and now that ds is 18 months he is asking for it almost every day , mama monkey see monkey do and he starts acting like a monkey , he repeats all the words with the dvd and it ends he goes mama more more more with words and signs . it is the only dvd that can calm him down if he got a tantrum or woke up unhappy , or if exceptionally mama went out without him and he didn't like it , dada knows how to make him happy , dad even asked me yesterday if there are no other dvds . so I am looking to buy the two news ones . he usually complains when i have plans to spend money but was surprised that he asked me to get those dvds . this si how much monkey see monkey do is loved in our family . Unlike other dvds like ybcr which after a while doesn't hold their attention and the only thing that he likes in them is the songs than he walks away from the tv , he will sit for monkey see for the whole episode and ask for more , and he never repeated words with ybcr , he does it all the time with monkey see  and of course LR which he adores also the multimedia part , no success with the flash words or the phonic parts not for him yet .
i really recommend monkey see monkey do as a different enjoyable learning tool that your baby will really love .
Krista you did a great job  combining words with poems and puppets i think this is what makes it special lively and different  from ybcr which can be boring after a while .
hey i have a 22 years old english volunteer  helper with my specialneed daughter therapy and if you let her choose what to play for the kids from signing time , ybcr, little pim , monkey see ,... she will choose monkey see , and you will often find us repeating the song monkey see monkey do even if the dvd is not playing .

We STILL love your MSMD DVDs!  The shapes DVD inspired me to have a baking day with my 2.5 year old.  I even let him crack the eggs!  Attached are a few photos I took.  I wanted small cookies because we don't really give him treats too often, so in my search for tiny cookie cutters I discovered that his shape sorter game was perfect!  Now he can have a few shapes each time   We also watered the icing down significantly so that it was more of a glaze (not as much sugar this way) and he could use a paint brush to ice them.  Such fun!  Thank you for your videos - we're looking forward to whatever else is coming up from your corner of the world!
