I would like to buy a keyboard and start teaching my 3 years old daughter playing a kayboard. I do not know how to play myself and there is none in my neighbourhood who is willing to teach kids at so early age.
I have read about
the Lisa Childs Piano Books. The book 1 - they say - is for the beginner, children from 3 years of age. Although colour is used in this book, the Lisa Childs method is not a ‘colour system’. Colour is used here as a visual stimulant to make it easier to follow, rather than the traditional ‘alphabet’ method. Young children can start to play the piano before they know their ABC, and can also be taught by parents who need not be pianists themselves, but can enjoy learning along with their children. By the end of this book the pupil will be playing pieces with both hands. This book has 96 pages.
I would like to know if anybody has this book and has tried teaching his little child using the book. Please let me know, I am really eager to learn more before I decide to buy their 4 books.
Thank you.
