Hi 2010Bebes,

That's  hard to say because I don't know your child.  I think Waterdreamer showed them to her son at an older age.  If you've just begun teaching reading to your little one this would be great.  If they already know hundreds of words I'd say not to get them.  If your grandchild has been exposed to a lot of videos and tv shows already he may find these a little slow.  So hard to say...sorry I'm not much help.

My son was 22 months when we started showing YBCR to him. He watched it till he was almost 5.

Any update on YCCR? I see only positive reviews here. My little one will be 2 in a couple of weeks. We completed YBCR at 19 months. I don't know if she is old enough to start YCCR. I want to give it a try. Volume one is $8.99 on Amazon, all the rest are cheaper, may be because the demand is not that high on them.

Wow!  That's a GREAT price!  Buy them!!!!!  If you don't use them now, you will very soon.  They are very good.  In fact, we were just watching a new one yesterday and my son has been quoting parts of it and using the new words in playtime.
