Rapid Spanish Online
The famous rapid language learning methods and materials of Dr. Jones are now available via online classes!
Learning a foreign language is always a challenge for homeschoolers unless the teaching parent knows a second language. The Jones Geniuses Language materials have been used very successfully over the years to teach homeschoolers to understand and communicate in Spanish (& French). In traditional courses, students often report an inability to use their language once they arrive in a foreign country. With Jones Geniuses Spanish, students are reading and using Spanish from the first day.
In the first semester they will learn the 500 most frequently used words accounting for 75% of all word usage in Spanish, and thousands of other words that are the same or similar in English. The course uses illustrated classics of literature in Spanish, starting with Tom Sawyer, followed by Huckleberry Finn, Black Beauty and 20,000 Leagues Beneath the Sea.
It is a fun course filled with interesting stories, activities, music and movies. Students will master the grammar and usage of Spanish verbs. After four semesters they will speak and understand Spanish very well and read beautifully. This is a four semester commitment since this Jones Geniuses Spanish course is offered for college preparatory requirements. Students will receive official transcripts, which should be acceptable in any college. Dr. Jones, who will be teaching the class, has a Ph.D. in Foreign Language Education, specializing in Spanish & Bilingual Education, and has a Texas teaching certificate for Spanish, French, ESL, mathematics, geography and history.
