This series aims to help child to read/recognize more than 800 words and also speak proper Mandarin confidently. It contains separate lessons for both Simplfied Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

In order to help your child to recognise words faster, the words shown in all the videos are big and brightly coloured. As your child is enjoying the video, he/she is also reading the 800 words taught in this 3-DVDs series. 

Each story video is accompanied with a Speech & Drama video. After watching the story video for a few times, your child is able to role-play using the Speech & Drama video. In a Speech & Drama video, the dialogue audio is purposely lowered significantly. Therefore this allows children, parents and educators to take up different roles like caterpillar, tortoise, squirrel and etc. This interactive and innovative way of learning definitely helps your child in his/her ability to master Chinese from young.

Dear Waterdreamer,

Thanks a lot for your kind revert. For our French, German, Spanish programs, we had collaborated with Globibo (a London-based company) which provides professional interpretation, translation services, language courses and cross-cultural training for many MNCs. Globibo covers more than 30 languages and has offices in both London and Singapore.

We are aiming to release the abovementioned programs in May. All the teachers and voice-overs are native speakers and very qualified teachers as well. We will definitely keep you posted on the development.

Thank you very much for your kind enquiry. Yes indeed, we had been planning to release another 10-15 languages. The Thai and Filipino programs are almost done. At the same time, we are excited to launch our French, German and Spanish program in May as well. I had uploaded a couple of product covers for your viewing. As usual, when the products are ready, we will inform Brillkids members for sure! For all our programs, we ensure that our teachers and voice-overs are native speakers as well as language teachers. We had also included the profile of these teachers at the back of our programs too.


As for the words taught in Speech & Drama DVDs, the words taught are very different. It's a fabulous follow-on program after our 6-DVDs program. The focus on this new series will be a lot on convversation and story-telling. We will be uploading the scripts and translation for all the stories by today or tomorrow. We will notify you once these materials are uploaded.

Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We are releasing our Speak & Read French 4-DVDs program in May priced at Singapore dollars $88 (approximately US$70). The French teacher is Ms. Karine Poirier (at the front cover of our program). She is a French native speaker from Paris. She obtained her Master in La Sorbanne University. Ms. Karine is also an experienced translator, interpreter and French instructor, currently based in Singapore.
