Trebellina review

I liked it, I wouldnt think it would need to be watched everyday, but on a regular basis.

There's good classical background music here and there, like Fur Elise. There are a couple of simple to play nursery rhymes which show the keys pressed on a keyboard as well as the corresponding note on the stave (is that the word for the straight lines the notes are written on?). Interspersed with toy animals etc to make it more interesting to kids.

Basically there's a lot of colour, variety, toys, real kids and things to appeal to kids and babies to watch. Playing instruments and dancing about.

You get to learn the notes A-G in upper and lowercase, with Trebellina singing the notes, and seeing and hearing them played on a piano.

There's some sections on different instruments, showing the word, a pic of the instrument, it being played.

know how to read notes, don't know the sound of other instruments, etc.

My son watched it for the first time today, and he was completely enamored with it. He is a very musical child, so he was hooked when he heard the first song. He clapped, smiled, tapped his fingers and danced throughout the whole video. I like that it teaches the notes as well as introduces some instruments and their sounds. There are only a couple things that I would change, and I won't mention them here. Overall, I think it is a great DVD.

A good dvd, our 14 month old daughter loves it.  Hopefully there will be additional dvds available for this series -- after watching this dvd we were left wanting more.

With all your good reviews, I'm convinced that I will let my hubby buy this. But, I'm still confused what really should I get among Intellectual Baby, Mercury Learning, Wink to Learn & this. All of these must be good, but I don't think he'll buy it all after knowing I didn't use the baby bumblebee anymore & the Little Einstein set (aside from the music) because of the bad reviews. My twins love their LR, LM, YBCR Set, Baby Signing Time 1-4, Brainy Baby DVDs, Little Pim Spanish, Preschool Prep, and some Spanish learning DVDs for kids. What do you think will be the best additional???

I actually had a lot of fun watching the video and learned something from it, but I'm not very musically inclined!!!

Great suggestion!   Karma to all the positive reviews!  My daughter loves the video. It's so cute! She giggles while she watches it. Friday is our music day, so she watches it once a week. Hopefully they have more videos after this one. Affortable price, quick shipping, good product. A++. I have to say this is a review from someone completly clueless music wise, but it looks like it is a great start if you want to introduce your baby to music. We also got Themes to Remember Vol 1 from amazon.com, as of right now I just play it in the background. I gave the task to figure out how to use the book and CD in conjuction to my husband  He's actually thinking about playing the music himself in the piano since it has the music written at the end of the book. Anyways, Trebellina good product!
